Our Boxes...
Our boxes are constructed from 20 gauge galvanised steel.
This makes them extremely strong and durable.
The boxes are of folded construction and all joints are spot or seam welded.
The joints are
then sealed with a zinc rich protective coating.
The lids are fixed to the boxes using a full length "piano" style hinge
to enhance the security and strength.
The profiled design of our Bare-Boxes allow then to make use of all the existing space above the rear wheel arch in either a Defender or Series Land Rover.
Their spacious design, robust construction and secure nature (when
fitted with appropriate hasps/locks) makes them extremely suitable for
Land Rover overland and
expedition use. They are also useful for securely storing items of
recovery equipment (strops, shackles, pulley blocks etc) as well as
keeping "stuff" out of sight from prying eyes.
BareBoxes can be fixed into place in your Land Rover using a variety of methods, although the simplest and most secure method is to just bolt them onto the wheel arch.
The 900mm wide BareBox is also suitable for fitting across the load area between the wheel arches. It's profiled shape makes good use of the space created by the angled bulkhead divider on hardtop Defenders. This size BareBox can also be fitted to County Station Wagons fitted with dog guards.
BareBox Originals are supplied in their raw Galvanised
steel finish. They can be used as they are or if preferred, you can
paint or powder coat them. We also do not fit locks or hasps to the
BareBox original range - we leave this for you to do, using your
preferred method.

BareCub (Cubby Box)
The BareCub cubby box is a fully finished cubby box, supplied powder
coated inside and out in satin black, pre fitted with a radial security
lock and featuring removable cup holders and an internal coin and key
tray.
BareBox (Original)
A basic BareBox, supplied in raw galvanised steel, without locks or
hasps.
Supplied in 900mm and 800mm sizes
BareCoat (Coated)
A powder coated, ready to fit BareBox, complete with radial security
lock.
Supplied in 400mm and 600mm.
